Hey y'all I've been busy with competitions in England and India and i was just too lazy to upload pics...till now....Here are some shots of my England trip
Dubai airport's new terminal
Somewhere outside the gate
Waiting for our transit flight
Yan Xin and I in the bus to Sheffield
The view outside our room window at like 4am in the morning(blame the jet lag). All 4 girls had to cram into one room and i managed to snag the sofa bed just next to the window.
This is Miss Low Wee Nee who is obviously not suffering from jet lag unlike the rest of us who were all bright eyed and bushy tail and watching 90210 at 4 in the morning. (She loves this pic coz she claims it makes her legs look longer)
Me, Wern and the rest of the Malaysian team at Kebabish (a kebab store)
Me doing a super fast lightning speed karate chop...Nah...I didn't know what i was doing.
Me getting distracted by shiny twinkley lights when i was suppose to pose for the camera.
From the left: Kamran (who thought he was suppose to be in the pic), Me, Wern
Wee Nee and Yan Xin. Needless to say we came out of the diner with our coats and scarves smelling of kebab.
Wee Nee and Me
Outside our hotel. I was bored so i decided to take some pics while waiting for our taxis to pick us up to bring us to the train station.
The hotel or inn where we stayed for 10 days. We wern't suppose to stay here but since the booking of hotels were late we had to stay here which is 10 minutes walk from the competition hotel. I know 10 minutes isn't that long but when you have to walk in minus 3 degrees with just a sports jacket as your source of warmth (we can't bring our winter coats coz it was to heavy and bulky to carry around to the courts).
This is our favouritest shop of all..the 99pence store!! Everything in there is super super cheap especially the chocolate and sweets and choc biscuits.
Waiting for the taxis. Yes that's Wee Nee on the right sleeping again.
A snowy view taken from the train ride from Sheffield to Manchester airport. When I was in Sheffield i didn't know it snowed until i was running for the bus and nearly fell on my ass coz the pavements were covered with snow and ice.
Another shot from the train window
SO yeah... this was my trip in England...It's really little compared to the amount of pics that i took in India which i will be posting up on my next post. So til then....
Cheers,
Rachael
